Using only the finest, all-natural, locally grown ingredients, we make the nation's best salsa and dry salsa mix.

We make products with the same care and attention to detail as our ancestors and never, ever, add phosphates or preservatives to our recipes. Here in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, we believe in good, healthy food that comes from the bounty of our land and the sweat of our brow. And we are proud of the results!

Some other folks seem to think it’s pretty good too. In fact, in 2003 our Summertime® Gourmet Salsa, was recognized as one of the Best New Products from Southern Appalachia by the Smithsonian Institute.

Here in upper East Tennessee, as in many places, times are tough. The area’s largest employer closed shop and left for Mexico in February and that’s 150 fewer good-paying jobs in a region already hard-hit by economic despair. G&H Foods, Inc. is trying to create jobs in this impoverished by paying our employees $8.10 an hour (a living wage here) and using as little automation as possible. Every lid on our products is screwed on by hand and all the fruit is grown locally on a 500-acre farm that lay fallow until this year.
